Chronically Simple operates on a subscription model with optional monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions, granting users access to premium features. Charges are applied to the iTunes account upon confirmation of purchase, and users can manage their subscriptions and disable auto-renewal via Account Settings post-purchase. Premium features include monthly expense tracking, expanded symptom tracking capabilities, and integration with the Apple Health app for comprehensive health data management. The founder, Kristy Dickinson, experienced a life-altering shift when diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome at 37. In response to her challenges in managing her healthcare, she created Chronically Simple to serve as a vital resource for herself and others navigating similar journeys.

Brenda Agnew’s journey reflects the experiences of many caregivers; after her son Maclain was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and profound hearing loss, she relied on seven binders for organization. With Chronically Simple, she now manages Maclain’s healthcare seamlessly, eliminating the need for physical binders while efficiently tracking physiotherapy appointments and prescription refills.

The application also supports advocates like Julian, whose mother's cancer diagnosis prompted him to seek an efficient way to oversee her care from distances as far as Nova Scotia. Chronically Simple enables such oversight in a convenient and timely manner.
